Wearable works of art - Textiles & Jewellery design by Gemma Critchley & Zara Braganca
Newly established British Jewellery label Cabinet are proud to be launching their second collection at London Fashion Week for Autumn Winter 2010. Their debut collection 'Amnesia’ received an outstanding reception when showcased last year at London Fashion Week and Treasure – sponsored by Coutts London Jewellery Week and the label has gone from strength to strength attracting interest from Fashion’s elite.
Building on four years of previous freelance collaborations Gemma Critchley and Zara Braganca formed a partnership in 2008, developing the brand which is defined by its carefully refined and uniquely sourced materials. The ethos is to create one of a kind and limited edition jewellery and womenswear accessories, coveted for their exciting combination of rare and unusual objects. Each piece is entirely hand crafted in the UK.
Emphasis is placed upon individuality and self-expression designed to be interpreted by the wearer, creating their own signature style; free spirited with a considered edge, true luxury which can be worn for upbeat, everyday glamour, treasured for a special occasion, or adorn a wall like a piece of art. Starting with a predominantly private commissioned service Cabinet have gone from strength to strength, building a celebrity following within a few months of launching, believing that true success comes from passion and dedication.
"Let Cabinet be a theatre to play out your own personal style."
